Library Research - Laboratory Exercise 4
Introduction
Analysis of a journal article is a short exercise designed to help you evaluate the primary literature in biology. In most cases, these journal articles will also lead you to a final research project topic. The purpose of this assignment is three-fold: (1) to familiarize you with searching for articles; (2) to show you how to identify scholarly articles, and (3) to initiate research for your final research project.
Before starting this assignment, select a topic to investigate. It would be worthwhile to select a topic that you may actually tackle for the partner research project.
